Do not use in the treatment of parasitic infestations in hypersensitive animals. Do not administer ivermectin to kittens or puppies under the age of 2 months or to convalescent or weak animals.
IVER-MITE OTIC solution contains as active substance ivermectin, antiparasitic substance with scabicidal effect that acts by increasing the permeability of the cell membrane to chlorine ions with hyperpolarization of nerve or muscle cells, causing paralysis and death of the parasite; it also causes the secretion of gamma aminobutyric acid (GABA) at the nerve synapses of the parasite, thus leading to the interruption of the nerve impulse.
How to use:
Clean the ear of the animal with a cerumenolytic solution – Otto Cleans.
Instill 2-5 drops of product and gently massage the base of the ear, thus favoring direct contact between the medicine and the ectoparasite.
After a few minutes, remove the excess product by lightly tapping with cotton wool.
Administer four treatments, every 3 days or as recommended by the veterinarian.
